So, degoogling

the easy bits:

Gmail. I've moved to another provider for all the things I used gmail for. It will take a while to move all my subscriptions across, but that's not problematic.

Blogspot: I'm here on Ghost. Haven't decided what to do with all my old posts on Blogspot; probably delete most and copy a few across.

Not so easy

Google maps. I need to find an open source map on which I can have a private layer. What I've seen so far suggests it's possible, but only by playing around with stuff, and I need to keep it simple.

Hard

Replacing android on my Fairphone. There are open source operating systems, but I fear bricking my phone if I try it, so I will be moving with tiny baby steps. I've left my vaguely techie eyars behind.

To live deliberately
